Mary Jackson

Chief Officer, Professional Resources @ Blake, Cassels and Graydon, LLP

Mary is the Chief Officer of Professional Resources at Blakes, Cassels & Graydon, a large national law firm in Canada.  She sits on the Executive Committee of the Firm and is responsible for the management, recruitment, professional development and training of legal professionals and staff at Blakes.   She is also actively involved in many initiatives in the Firm in the areas of diversity and inclusion, pro bono work and mental health. Her interest in mental health is one that comes out of her personal experience in dealing with mental health issues in her family.  Mary practiced civil litigation for six years at a large law firm in Toronto. She was a law clerk to the former Chief Justice Beverly McLachlin at the Supreme Court of Canada. Mary pursued her graduate studies in Sociology.
